The concept of RandomPrecision started in the Summer of 1983, the name came later. The goal of Random Precision can be summed up in one sentence: "Get the sound that's in the artist's head onto some kind of recorded media."

Evolution
The evolution of RandomPrecision follows a course true to that goal from engineering to production to interaction with the music industry as a whole. From humble beginnings in a long gone studio on Melrose through building & partnering in Granite Recording, to living on the cutting edge of digital audio and computer technology, Random Precision stays true to its original vision
